At Joe’s, students of all ages are welcome to learn a musical instrument. Whether music is a hobby you love or a career you dream of, our university-trained instructors will provide one-on-one attention to make sure you get the most out of your lessons.
Students in private music lessons are able to learn the type of music they personally are most interested in. Our teachers provide 100% of their attention to each student to ensure that hand positioning, posture and the understanding of a particular concept is correct.
Enjoy a class size of four to twelve students while you develop technical proficiency, interpretive skills, creativity, method and self-confidence in one of our group lessons.
Instruments or methods we offer for group music lessons include violin, recorder, drum line, marching band, wind and brass, and steel pan.
Children ages 18 months to 7 years old can learn piano or violin in our Music Funtime class, which encourages children to express themselves through music. Classes are structured around a progressive and sequential curriculum, incorporating themed units on all topics as a means of teaching elements of music.
If you’d like to participate in an intense 6-week to 8-week clinic, consider taking one of our clinics, which include vocal workshops, theory workshops and clinics for various instruments. The applications will also develop students interested in composing.
To complement and reinforce private music lessons, the ensembles offer students an opportunity to apply what they have learned into practice and to share music making with others in string, woodwind and brass ensembles; jazz band; gospel band; and rock band.
